    $51.12 per hour + super | Cannon Hill | 2 Positions | Immediate Start

    We're looking for two organised and detail-focused Procurement Support Officers to join a busy Queensland Government team based in Cannon Hill!

    This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with procurement experience or a strong administration background who enjoys working with systems, managing information and keeping things running smoothly.

    You'll be joining the IRIS Tendering Team, supporting procurement and tendering activities across South East Queensland. It's a fast-paced environment where accuracy, organisation and attention to detail are essential.

    What's on offer?

    • $51.12 per hour + super

    • Cannon Hill location

    • Immediate start through to 4 December 2026

    What you'll be doing

    • Supporting the processing of tenders valued under $250,000 across South East Queensland

    • Assisting with tendering activities for planned customer programs

    • Preparing, reviewing and processing procurement documentation

    • Completing high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy

    • Maintaining procurement records and updating internal systems

    • Checking documentation to ensure information is complete and correct

    • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the tendering team

    • Managing competing priorities and meeting processing deadlines

    What we're looking for

    We're keen to speak with candidates who have:

    • Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, tendering or contract administration

    • Strong administration and data entry skills

    • Exceptional attention to detail

    • Confidence using computer systems and managing large volumes of information

    • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines

    • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn

    • The ability to work independently and contribute to a busy team

    Procurement Level 1, 2 or 3 experience will be highly regarded, along with previous government experience.

    Don't have extensive procurement experience? Don't let that stop you! If you're a capable administrator with some procurement exposure, excellent accuracy and the ability to learn quickly, we'd still love to hear from you.
