We're looking for a Ranger (Statutory Laws) to join the Persons Experiencing Homelessness Ranger Team in Moreton Bay. This is a unique opportunity to combine community engagement, compliance, and field-based work in a role where no two days are the same.

🚶 What You'll Be Doing

As part of the Persons Experiencing Homelessness Ranger Team, you will:

• Engage respectfully with members of the community
• Conduct community impact and human rights assessments
• Investigate and respond to local law compliance matters
• Issue notices requiring individuals to stop activities or undertake remedial action
• Carry out compliance-related work where notices have not been followed
• Use mobile devices and technology to record information and manage cases
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Help maintain safe and accessible public spaces across the region

👌 What We're Looking For

We're keen to hear from people who have:

• Experience in local laws, compliance, ranger services, community services, regulatory environments, or similar roles
• Strong communication and people skills
• A practical, solution-focused approach to resolving issues
• The ability to work effectively within a team
• Sound computer skills and confidence using mobile technology
• Experience undertaking manual tasks safely
• Good written, verbal, and numeracy skills

📋 Essential Requirements

• Current C Class Driver Licence
• Ability to obtain or provide a National Police Check
• Ability to work professionally with a wide range of community members
