$35 per hour + super | Eagle Farm | Full-time hours | Temp to perm opportunity
Already have warehouse experience and keen to learn more? This could be your next move!
We're recruiting for a Warehouse Assistant to join an iconic Australian business in Eagle Farm.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands on warehouse work but is also interested in learning more about logistics, freight coordination and warehouse operations.
You'll be joining an established business with a supportive team, plenty of training and the opportunity to build a long-term career in the trade services industry.
$35 per hour + super
Full-time casual hours, approximately 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, depending on workload
Opportunity to transition into permanent employment for the right person (great perks if you go permanent)
Training across dispatch, freight and logistics administration
Supportive, experienced team
Opportunity to develop your skills within a well-established Australian business
You'll initially work alongside the Picking Supervisor, helping with labelling, preparing orders and keeping day-to-day warehouse operations running smoothly.
As you settle into the role, you'll receive training across different areas of the operation, including:
Picking, packing, labelling and preparing orders for dispatch
Wrapping pallets and consolidating outgoing freight
Organising freight bookings and assisting with deliveries
Preparing driver run sheets and supporting dispatch
Updating Excel spreadsheets and completing data entry
Learning internal logistics systems
Supporting the warehouse team with general hands-on duties
This is a hands-on role, so you'll need to enjoy being active and working on the warehouse floor. The administration side gives you an opportunity to develop additional skills as you learn the operation.
You might currently be working as a Storeperson, Warehouse Assistant, Pick Packer, Dispatch Assistant or Forklift Operator and be ready to learn something new.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Experience in warehousing, logistics, transport or a similar environment
The ability to comfortably undertake physical warehouse duties
Confidence using computers and a willingness to learn new systems
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
A reliable, proactive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
A forklift licence would be great, but it's not essential!
If you're interested in building a career in logistics, operations or the trade services industry, this could be a great place to start.
You'll have the opportunity to learn how a busy warehouse operates, develop your administrative skills and gain exposure to freight, dispatch and the broader supply chain.
For someone with the right attitude, there's also the potential to transition into permanent employment and continue developing within the business.
Interested? We'd love to hear from you!
