Are you an experienced Excavator Operator with pulverising experience looking for a well-paid opportunity with a pathway to permanent employment?

Our client is a growing Queensland business specialising in waste management, resource recovery, recycling, waste transfer and landfill operations. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to join their team.

What's on offer?

• $47+ per hour + Super
• Temp-to-permanent opportunity for the right candidate
• Monday to Friday, 3:00pm – 12:00am
• Overtime available, including Saturdays
• Immediate start available

The role

Working within a busy waste and resource recovery facility, your duties will include:

• Operating an excavator fitted with a pulverising attachment
• Operating other mobile plant as required
• Handling and processing materials across the site
• Supporting daily site operations to maintain productivity and efficiency
• Following site safety procedures and maintaining a clean, safe work environment

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated experience operating excavators and heavy mobile plant
• A valid excavator ticket or relevant recognised competency
• Experience with pulverising attachments or similar equipment, highly regarded
• A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
• The ability to work confidently around heavy machinery in a busy industrial environment
• Reliability, punctuality and a proactive attitude
• Availability for the advertised Monday-to-Friday shift and overtime, including Saturdays

Experience in waste management, recycling, quarrying, civil construction or landfill operations will be highly regarded.
