Fitter & Turner

We are seeking two experienced Mechanical Fitters to join a specialist team relocating a major high-pressure diecasting facility to a new manufacturing site.

This hands-on project will involve dismantling, documenting, transporting, reinstalling and commissioning large-scale production equipment including diecast machines, furnaces and automated systems.

Key Responsibilities

Dismantle and decommission heavy manufacturing equipment.

Label and document components for accurate reassembly.

Reinstall, align and commission machinery at the new facility.

Reconnect hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical systems.

Assist with fault finding and startup activities.

Work safely alongside rigging and crane teams.

To Be Successful You Will Have

Mechanical Fitter trade qualification.

Experience with machinery relocation, shutdowns, industrial installations or plant maintenance.

Strong hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge.

Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics.

Experience in heavy manufacturing environments.
