The Role

Forget about working late nights or weekends like retail, this role provides great work/life balance, the roster is 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday - Friday.

Reporting to the Branch Manager we are seeking an ambitious and motivated person to join the team in their Rockdale branch. You will need to be customer service focused, open to learning and career minded.

Duties include:

  • Counter sales which provide customers with prompt, efficient and professional service
  • Work in a cooperative and positive manner with other team members to assist in achieving the business objectives
  • Ensure all enquiries, quotations and customer issues are addressed promptly
  • Be able to perform manual handling tasks
  • Operating aluminium cutting equipment such as an upsaw and bandsaw.
  • Work in a safe manner following all SH&E procedures and guidelines

Required skills and attributes:

  • Competent PC skills
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Customer Service experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Willing to learn new skills

Industry experience is not essential, just a willingness to learn, confidence, and desire to develop your skills and knowledge.

You will need to have a current full driver’s licence (auto) and a Forklift licence is desired but not essential.
