LABOURER (PARKS & GARDENS/HORTICULTURE) – LOCAL GOVERNMENT.

• Hourly rate $34.41 + Super
• Early starts and finishes (6.00am to 3.00pm)
• Monday to Friday

This is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy being outdoors and be involved in the full scope of parkland landscape construction and maintenance. No two days are ever the same! The roles available will involve general labouring duties including operation and maintenance of parks and sport facilities.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Operation and maintenance of machinery
• Duties could include: Maintenance and construction, horticultural and landscape works: mowing, mulching, maintenance of parks, gardens and estates and general beautification of works in the local council.
• Other maintenance activities may include, but not limited to, litter control, street sweeping, drainage maintenance and street furniture maintenance.
• Undertake any other labouring duties as directed

TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Minimum requirement – MR LICENCE, White Card and PPE Gear.
• Previous relevant experience
• HR Licence highly advantageous
• Tractor/Slasher Experience highly regarded
• ACDC Licence desirable but not required
