An exciting opportunity has come up with your local government to work with their Roads & Drains Team. These positions are ideal for people that love physical work and enjoy working to better their community. You would be working across various locations within the Redland community, and in a small team, you will work together to assess and execute each job with safety and quality front-of-mind.

• $33.46 hourly rate + Super
• Early starts and finishes (6:30/7:00am to 3:30/4:00pm)
• Casual ongoing, full time hourly basis
• Immediate Start!
• Monday to Friday
• Redlands Location – Work Close to home!

A Day in The Life

Your day-to-day will include the following responsibilities:

• Inspecting and maintaining water distribution systems.
• Conducting repairs and replacements of water pipes and fixtures.
• Assisting with the installation of new water infrastructure.
• Performing routine maintenance on pumps, valves, and meters.

To Be Successful

• Minimum requirement – White Card, Driver’s License & PPE
• Previous relevant experience in the construction/civil/water industry
• The right candidate will have a strong laboring background.
• MR license highly desired
• Required for you to have or be willing to get vaccinated for Hepatitis A & B, Tetanus.
