Full time role available in Port Melbourne for an experienced Delivery Driver/Store Person working for a company aligned with the construction sector

Our Client

This Australian owned and operated organisation supply’s the Construction, Infrastructure, Mining & Minerals Processing industries. They operate 2 individual divisions focused on delivering quality products to contractors, installers and asset owners.

Construction Products Division - provides products to active and passive fire companies, HVAC installers and building contractors. Their Trade Centres are located in convenient locations and stock a broad range of products to suit the immediate requirements of their customers. Their product range is extensive and includes a full range of pipe, valves, fittings, accessories, tools, passive fire material, fire extinguishers, fire extinguisher accessories.

Refractory Anchor Division - has been operating since 1987 and manufactures refractory hardware components including refractory anchors, hexagonal mesh, ceramic fibre fixings and stainless steel reinforcing fibres. Anchors are available in various grades of heat resistant stainless steels and carbon steel in standard profiles or manufactured to customers designs.

The Opportunity

In this full time role, your duties will be split 70/30 between delivering products to customers (70%) and assisting in the warehouse (30%).

Driving a small truck which doesn’t require an endorsed licence you will be the “face” of the company, delivering to customer workplaces and sites.

In the warehouse you will assist in picking and packing orders ready for delivery. You may also assist with customer enquiries and over the counter sales.

The hours are Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm and there may be some occasional overtime.
