  • Are you an experienced operational leader looking for your next big opportunity — and a lifestyle upgrade to match? Our client, a respected name in allied manufacturing, is offering a rare chance to lead a well-established processing site in NorthWest NSW. This role provides the perfect balance of strategic leadership and hands-on operational oversight, all in a stunning regional location.

    About the Role
Reporting to the Group General Manager in Sydney, you’ll oversee the day-to-day performance of a high-performing site with a team of 70 and 6 direct reports across production, maintenance, technical, environmental, and OH&S. With production volumes driven externally, the focus is on operational excellence, process efficiency, team leadership, and compliance — not chasing volume growth.

You’ll work closely with head office leaders to implement industry-leading practices, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the site remains a benchmark for safety, quality, and performance.

    What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a decisive and driven leader who can inspire teams, manage complexity, and deliver consistent results. Your background will include:

    • Strong experience in manufacturing operations, production, or maintenance
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and exceed performance KPIs
    • Proven results in cost control, quality assurance, and business improvement
    • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    • A solid track record in safety and compliance
    • Financial literacy and decision-making capability
    • Six Sigma or continuous improvement credentials (highly regarded)

    Why This Role?
This is more than just a job — it's a career move with long-term potential and lifestyle perks. With no volume growth targets, you'll enjoy the satisfaction of leading a high-functioning team with the time and support to focus on what matters most: people, performance, and process.

Whether you're looking to escape the city, raise a family in a welcoming rural community, or take the next step in your leadership journey — this is your opportunity.
